2 Timothy 4:2 - Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season. 

Reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and teaching.  

This requires that sermon content be the Scriptures. 

The point of a sermon is to bring the Bible to light. 

The best way to do that is to preach verse by verse through Bible books. 

We are presently seeking the mind of Christ in:  

1. Hebrews, 2. Jeremiah, 3. Life of David, 4 Luke, and 5. Studies in Job (in that order on first through fifth Sundays, respectively).
